WATCH ANALYSIS

The watchmaker carries out an accurate analysis of your timepiece and estimates the interventions and prepares the estimate. Once the estimate has been accepted, the maintenance service can begin.

PREPARATION OF THE SERVICE

The watchmaker first separates the bracelet from the case, then delicately removes the movement, still with the dial and hands. From that moment, the paths of the movement, the case and the bracelet separate to rejoin at the end of the maintenance service, with the assembly operations.

DISASSEMBLY OF THE MOVEMENT

The watchmaker completely dismantles the movement, subjects each component to a careful examination to determine whether it complies with Rolex criteria, and replaces it if necessary.

WASHING OF MOVEMENT COMPONENTS

The various components are subjected to an ultrasonic cleaning bath to eliminate every minimum impurity, even in the most difficult to access areas.

MOVEMENT ASSEMBLY AND LUBRICATION

The components are dried and the movement is ready to be reassembled and lubricated. The watchmaker carries out an initial adjustment of the movement's precision, in compliance with the Brand's standards.

FINISHING OF THE CASE AND BRACELET

The case is entirely disassembled, after which the case middle, bezel, caseback and bracelet are polished or satin-finished, as in the original finish. These delicate operations require precision and great mastery of gestures.

CASE ASSEMBLY

The elements of the case, once the polishing or satin finishing and cleaning operations have been completed, are assembled again and the gaskets replaced. The time has come to test the waterproofness of the case.

PUTTING INTO THE CASE

After reassembling the dial and hands, the watchmaker subjects all the elements to a rigorous technical and aesthetic check and reinserts the movement into the case.

PRECISION TEST

With the movement in the case, the chronometric precision is re-evaluated. The watchmaker makes the final adjustments so that the watch meets Rolex's criteria. He then screws the case back onto the case and then subjects the watch to a test lasting a minimum of twenty-four hours. This test, specific to the Brand, allows you to verify the correct functioning of the movement over time.

WATERPROOF TEST

The waterproofness of the watch is checked through a test in water, under pressure; after which, the bracelet is reassembled on the case.

FINAL CHECK

At this point, the watch is ready for a final test, during which the watchmaker verifies the correctness of the functions and the aesthetic precision.

RETURN OF THE WATCH

At the end of the process, the watch will be returned to you in a protective case and will benefit from a two-year international guarantee covering both components and labor.
