COOKIE POLICY

INTRODUCTION

This website www.pisa1940.com (“Site”) uses cookie and other tracking tools (among which, by way of example only, pixels), provided and managed directly by F.lli Pisa S.r.l. and by third parties, in order to provide visitors and users (“User/Users”) a more usable, efficient and personalized browsing experience (collectively “Cookie” or “Tracking Tools”).

This coolie policy provides information as to the Cookie installed by the Site only and the respective characteristics and purposes.

What are cookie and for which purposes they may be used

Cookie are text files or set of information created by certain websites on the User’s personal computer at the moment in which User accesses a website for the purposes of storing and transportins information. Cookies are sent from a web server (which is the computer on which the visited website is running) to the User's browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.) and stored on the User's computer; they are, then, re-sent to the website on subsequent visits.

Some operations could not be accomplished without the use of Cookies, which, in some cases, are therefore technically necessary. In other cases, the Website uses Cookies to facilitate and improve navigation by the User or to enable the User to take advantage of specifically requested services.

Cookies are generally classified as follows:

  • according to the subject that installs them on the user's device, depending on whether it is the same operator of the site that the user is visiting (so-called "first-party cookie") or a different site, which installs cookies through the first site (so-called "third-party cookie");
  • according to their duration, in persistent cookies, i.e. that remain stored, even after the browser is closed and until a predetermined deadline, on the user's device (such are, by way of example, the cookies used to maintain authentication on the site, avoiding the re-entry of authentication credentials), and in session cookies, which are not permanently stored, but are automatically deleted each time the browser is closed;
  • according to the purpose of each cookie: certain cookies allow the website that installed them to remember, for example, the preferences expressed by the user during browsing or to authenticate (so-called "Technical Cookie" or "Strictly Necessary Cookie") and are necessary for the proper working of the site or the services enabled or requested by the user; the so-called "Functionality or Preference Cookie" allows the user to browse the website according to selected criteria; some cookies and similar technologies are provided for the purpose of processing statistical information on the use of the site and its operation in order to measure its performance and thus improve its usability (so-called "Analysis and Measurement Cookie"). Other cookies allow the site that installed them to monitor the user's browsing also in order to send advertising or offer services in line with the preferences expressed by the user while surfing the web and/or to evaluate the usefulness of advertising campaigns and content presented to the user (so-called profiling cookies or "Marketing Cookie"), - also in line with the preferences expressed by the user while browsing the web and/or to evaluate the usefulness of advertising campaigns and content presented to the user (so-called "Profiling Cookie" or "Targeting Cookie").

The following section "Cookie Statement" better describes the categories of Tracking Tools used and installed through this Site, their respective purposes and third parties. Therefore, please refer to this section for more details.

User’s consent for cookie and tracking tools

According to applicable law, it is not mandatory to ask for the User's consent in relation to the use of Technical Cookies, as they are necessary to provide the services requested through the navigation on the Site.

Technical Cookies are automatically installed by the Site when the User first visits any page of the Site and thereafter, unless the User chooses otherwise, only the strictly necessary Technical Cookies are activated.

Conversely, by way of example, Marketing Cookies and Targeting Cookies, where applicable, are installed only with the express consent of the User.

When the User accesses the Site, a special banner informs him/her about the fact that the Site also uses Marketing Cookies and Statistics Cookies and that it is possible to accept the use of these Cookies by clicking on the appropriate button in the Cookie banner or by accessing the Cookie management section ("Banner").

If the User does not want to give consent, he/she may at any time decide to block or disable, in whole or in part, Cookies through one or more of the following ways:

  • by clicking on the "X" in the upper right-hand corner of the Banner, clicking on "Reject" or selecting the "Accept Selected" function of the Banner;
  • by changing the settings in the Cookie Management section (please refer to the section "Enabling and Disabling Cookies" for more information);
  • by changing the specific settings of the browser used to browse the Site (please refer to the section " Enabling and Disabling Cookies" for more information).

Failure to consent, whether originally or subsequently, to Cookies will in no way affect your ability to visit the Site and enjoy its content.
