Pisa Orologeria reopens in Milan, in Via Verri

The history of Pisa Orologeria has always been focused exclusively on the watch sector.

Today the old Pisa's "shop" takes up the aspect of a modern firm, keeping anyhow unaltered its family character thanks to which it became a renowned brand at international level.

The secrets of our growth are not at all secret; the strong cooperation of the main executives of Pisa Orologeria (Ileana and Maristella Pisa and Fabio Bertini), and the need to be more than a "simple" agent, brought us to open today a new and renewed multi-brand store.

Since the 10th of September, Pisa Orologeria has reopened the doors in Milan with a marvellous boutique dedicated to the best brands of modern watch making.

The business intuitions of Pisa family have always brought to choices focused on brands with which it was possible to create a strong connection; currently, there are about thirty brands proposed.

The store was designed by Claudio Monti and is located in Via Verri (corner Via Montenapoleone 9) next to the historical location which will become  Spazio Patek Philippe of Pisa Orologeria from this November.

The space is developed on about 200 square metres distributed on two levels: once entered the main door, it is possible to access an internal space of double height, onto which expositive windows overlook.

This internal square, hub of the entire project, develops vertically and virtually covers the two store's levels.

The ground floor, fully dedicated to the sale of watches, opens with an entrance characterised by a wide counter, behind which there is a wall finished in red brick marble, that recalls the basic colour of Pisa Orologeria.

The adjacent rooms are thought for more discreet sales, in which the client can be comfortably served and advised when sitting at a table.

As in all projects of Claudio Monti, this is also characterised by a warm and cosy atmosphere reproduced with the use of classical materials, proposed in contemporary key: floors in earthenware in red colour and furniture in Tanganyika wood.

In the upper floor which hosts the offices, a cosy atmosphere is felt; the volumes are smaller and the floors are made in wool carpet.

The light, distributed uniformly through embedded spot lights, moulds the space creating a suggestive game of full and empty spaces.

Everything was strongly wanted and carried out by a historical family who concurred in the evolution of the Italian watch making and that after celebrating sixty years of activities, is still synonymous of class and professionalism, guaranteed today by the active participation of the new Pisa's generations.
