The Pisa family has always been a forerunner in the world watch sector and is now the star of a totally unique event:
the first ever Rolex Flagship Store in Europe, designed by Claudio Monti in collaboration with the Rolex Geneva interior design team.
The atmospheric quality is dictated by careful research on the light and the special lighting fixtures designed by Erco, and by the warm and natural materials used such as oak wood and deep woollen carpets - in line with the other works by the architect C. Monti over recent years.
Other materials such as maple wood, green aqua glass and leather have all been revised and adapted to suit the coordinated image of Rolex as suggested by the Interior Design team at Rolex Geneva.
Welcoming interiors have been combined with a large vegetation work by the French artist Patrik Blanc. This "wall of greenery" can practically be perceived from every corner of the interior space, built on five floors and accessible by a sculptural staircase made from Tanganyika wood which creates smooth and sinuous ramps. The architect Marco Di Nunzio is the author of this work.
The designer concentrated on the "environmental" aspect; all the facilities were chosen to provide maximum comfort using the most modern technologies to achieve the image of elegance and sporting worlds that are so characteristic of the Rolex brand.
This Flagship Store is a totally different type of outlet compared to the other "Espace Rolex" already present in Europe: in fact the care dedicated to detail, the redesigning of corporate elements, the extensive interior space and the strategic position combine to make it a unique model. The Pisa family has continued to place its confidence in the Rolex brand since the 1940's, a revolutionary era, and celebrates today a collaboration that goes back over 60 years.
