May 21, 2008, was a special date for those who have always loved Rolex.
A special day to inaugurate a special place: the Rolex Boutique of Pisa Orologeria in Via Montenapoleone, 24, the new reference point for all Rolex lovers.
Welcoming Rolex customers with skill and professionalism in a different ambient and a prestigious building was Pisa's challenge, which they carried off with the same enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit that have always marked this company's success over the years.
Marketing intuition has brought Pisa Orologeria to strategic decisions about brands with which they have often created an absolute identification. This is the case with Rolex, which Pisa believed in back in the Forties, embracing the quality features and technological innovations and foreseeing the future affirmation and world level prestige well in advance.
Only the complete synergy that exists between the apexes of Pisa and Rolex could produce a unique space of this kind: precise, rigorous and modern like a great watch, but also creative as this brand has always shown itself to be.
Every part of the Pisa Orologeria Rolex Boutique has been studied in the smallest detail, from the choice of materials to the colours, from the interior furnishings to the window displays.
Greatest attention was given to the norms for Rolex spaces: sycamore, beige leather and decorative elements in "aqua glass" or green glass.
On the outside, to attract passersby, there are two large display windows that reproduce the gothic Milan Cathedral in mosaic, and large screens that during the night not only project pictures of the products but also sports and cultural events sponsored by Rolex.
When you cross the threshold of the Rolex Boutique, a large panoramic glassed-in lift overlooks a vertical garden backdrop made by the botanical landscape artist Patrick Blanc.
The ground floor features a sales counter in "aqua glass" six metres long, an artful interpretation of the concept of the majesty of sea water that Rolex watches have always identified with; on the other side, there is a nine-by-four meter wall in beige leather with the "Jubilee" Rolex design.
Going up to the first floor, there is a reserved sales area, and on the second floor there is a help centre which makes use of four watch technicians, aided by the most modern equipment to offer a "quick service" and top quality after sales assistance.
The top floor is the garden terrace which welcomes customers and guests for specialised exhibits and events that feature the world of Rolex in its various facets.
The Pisa Orologeria Rolex Boutique offers its customers a really thrilling sensory experience, yet once again they know that exclusivity and attention to detail will reaffirm Rolex's prestige and Pisa's tradition, which guide this new reality with the professionalism appreciated and recognised by everybody.
